Conditions / Provisions
●Age limit: 20 years of age and older
○Others: a) To be a active creator such as designer, artist, craftsman, programmer, entrepreneur, etc. (Genre does not matter)
b) To do everything about production and living independently.
c) To respond to interviews and photography on design activities during the stay.
d) Staying in NEO area and being able to do activities for half a year. To spend more than 50% of the time in the area.
e) To make at least one presentation as an interim announcement within the stay period.
f) Be sure to announce the result of production as a work within the residence period and take responsibility for exhibition work and removal.
g) Be able to attend a meeting held once a month during the stay.
i) Good health condition.
j) To be able to comply with the usage agreement of the facility.

Surrounding Environment
About 1400 people live in NEO area, Motosu city. It is a typical “marginal village” in Japan.
2013, Atsushi Nakahara (a founder of this project) moved to Neo area. He and designers living in the area started “NEO design project” to design life styles in the area.
2015, Motosu City has supported the project, and members of the project founds a co-working space GIDS for creative people. At the same time, we have started “NEO designer in residence” program to invite creative persons from the world.
